JSU eSports Program, a charitable arm of Jackson State University, was established in 2020. It is a nonprofit organization with a purpose to raise funds and provide support to Jackson State University eSports team through private donations from JSU alumni, community support, government entities, as well as corporate and foundation partners.

The eSports Program identifies the priorities, goals, and specific objectives that will enable JSU students to achieve its vision and fulfill its mission.

Jackson State University strives to provide the best college experience for every student. Student-gamers are encouraged to achieve excellence in the classroom as well as the competitive arena. Our eSports Program offers an education that supports and supplements the lessons learned in the classroom. Life-long skills such as teamwork, discipline, perseverance, and leadership are cultivated throughout our program. There are over 65 student gamers supported by a talented and committed group of faculty and staff. Student-gamers are encourages to channel their passion and drive for excellence by pushing themselves to be the best through hard work and high standards.
